Joanne Pasternack

Director of Community Relations / 49ers Foundation for the San Francisco 49ers 

Joanne Pasternack is the Director of Community Relations / 49ers Foundation for the San Francisco 49ers.  She oversees all community relations functions for the team, creating and managing high visibility programs based on the 49ers objectives.  In her role with the Foundation, she works with team ownership to facilitate signature fundraising events and the donation of funds to non-profits that support the Foundation’s mission of keeping kids “Safe, On Track and In School.”  In 2010, the Foundation donated $1.8 million.

Prior to joining the 49ers in 2008, Joanne served as a Senior Analyst for the City of Mountain View.  Before joining Mountain View, Joanne was the Manager of International Corporate Relations for Special Olympics, Inc. at their headquarters in Washington, DC.

Joanne holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and a JD from Santa Clara University.  She resides in Sunnyvale with her husband, Robert Bardin, and their two children.

 

Young Han

Co-founder and CEO of GoVoluntr

 

Young Han is co-founder and CEO of GoVoluntr, an online social platform bringing together volunteers, non-profit organizations, and corporations to spark volunteerism in a new and engaging way. As CEO, Young oversees branding, awareness, and development of GoVoluntr and its commitment to make doing good easier. 

Outside the office Young is an avid volunteer, giving him strong insight into the rewards and impact of volunteerism. Young has also lent his keen Do Gooder instincts to several Bay Area non-profit boards and counsels, including TransAccess, SOAR, and the Chamber of Commerce Mountain View. Prior to GoVoluntr Young quelled the masses as a store manager of the Palo Alto Apple Store and is well recognized as the former manager extraordinaire with a Got Milk? mustache at Starbucks Coffee.

Young holds a BA in Business Marketing from San Jose State University.  He lives in San Jose with his girlfriend, Amy, and his pack of miniature daschunds, Chloe, Mega, and Ellie.

Since launching three months ago, GoVoluntr has sourced more than 500 volunteers and tracked 1,300 hours of service.

Tamon Norimoto

Government Relations Representative for Pacific Gas and Electric Company


 

Tamon Norimoto is the Government Relations Representative for Pacific Gas & Electric Company helping steward PG&E’s charitable program here in Santa Clara County. PG&E’s goal is to be the leading corporate citizen in each of the diverse communities they serve throughout Northern and Central California. In 2010, PG&E contributed $19.3 million to charitable organizations and, this year, PG&E plans to provide over $23 million in contributions.

Prior to joining PG&E, Tamon was the Development Director for Asian Americans for Community Involvement (AACI), a health and human service nonprofit organization serving the diverse community of Santa Clara County with culturally competent, linguistically appropriate services.  He continues to stay involved in the community by serving as commissioner of San Jose's Housing and Community Development Advisory Commission, board member and past president of Japantown Community Congress of San Jose, board member of the San Jose Chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League (JACL), board member of the California Japanese American Community Leadership Council, SunPAC trustee, board member of the Silicon Valley Asian Pacific American Democratic Club, and corporate advisory board of the Asian Pacific American Leadership Institute (APALI).  Tamon is also a member of the Japantown Lion’s Club and is involved with both the Cupertino Chamber of Commerce and the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce.  

Tamon was recently awarded the 2010 Local Hero Award from Bank of America and was also awarded the Human Relations Award from the County of Santa Clara in 2009.
